Indulge yourself with a weekend of yoga, pilates and meditation: yoga to realign your mind and body; pilates to strengthen and meditation to soothe and heal the spirit. The course is open to all, from complete beginners to the more advanced, including teachers. All sessions will be highly interactive and there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions or explore areas of interest to students. There will be yoga after breakfast, pilates in the late afternoon and mediation at the end of the day. On Saturday afternoon there will be a guided walk in the local area.

Following his training in martial arts Mike became interested in Yoga after a bad sports injury and eventually studied to obtain the British Wheel of Yoga Teachers’ Diploma. Mike is now a teacher trainer approved by the Yoga Alliance. Some years later Mike trained in the body conditioning method developed by Joseph Pilates and qualified with the Pilates Institute and has subsequently taken post graduate training in equipment and Pilates for rehabilitation. Mike is also qualified personal trainer (having trained with the YMCA) specialising in weight loss, joint problems and injury recovery. Mike works with a range of clients from top athletes to people who want “just feel less achey”. He has a deep love of the outdoors and trekking and is always keen to share his pasture for nature and the natural world. To complement all his exercise teaching Mike also practices acupuncture, having trained with Dr Zude Ye (of Arizona and Beijing Universities) and sports, remedial and deep tissue massage therapy.
